11" x 14" | Mixed Media Drawing on Translucent Yupo | Floating Frame

What happens when one of the West's fastest land animals borrows its colors from a rainbow trout? Where Rainbows Runbrings together two iconic species in an unexpected celebration of the natural world. The pronghorn's distinctive features take on the brilliant pinks, golden greens and dark spotting of a rainbow trout, creating a creature that exists somewhere between observation and imagination.

Created with mixed media on translucent Yupo, expressive linework, vibrant color and fluid washes bring texture and personality to this unusual portrait. Both playful and distinctly Western, this piece celebrates the beauty of familiar wildlife while imagining something entirely new.
